Digital Painting: Children will learn the skills associated with painting pictures on a PC device. Children will continue to familiarise themselves with the different parts and functions of the desktop computer: logging in, screen, mouse, keyboard, Google search etc.

Geography

Our Wonderful World

This essential skills and knowledge project teaches children about physical and human features, maps, cardinal compass points, and positional and directional language.

They learn about the equator, hemispheres and continents and are introduced to the countries, capital cities of the UK and Greece.

Greek

Adv: Phonics: Ρ,Θ,Μ,Η,X,Γ blending familiar sounds to form and read short words, practise the use of ‘ι’ and ‘η’, spell ‘είναι’ και ‘έχει’,enjoy fairy tales in Greek and participate in discussions about the books.

Beg.: Food, Animals, Locations, Christmas and stories, rhymes, songs, playground games, crafts relevant to the topics.

Greek Culture

Ancient Greece Heroes and Mythology 2:

Music

  • Ensure your child comes in full school uniform with a water bottle.
  • Promote healthy eating by providing healthy snacks.
