On the occasion of the visit to Greece by the RAF Acrobatic team, Red Arrows, the British Ambassador H.E. Mr Matthew Lodge, invited five students from Byron College to attend a reception at the British Residence.

We have been invited by the Forestry Authority of Limni, in northern Evia, one of the areas heavily affected by the wildfires last summer, to participate in an organised tree-planting event.
A record 41 students from Byron College participated in the SCMUN 2022.
On 23th March we celebrated the bicentenary of Greek Independence and the birthday of Lord Byron in the company of the Ambassador of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Mr Matthew Lodge, his wife and Mr Velentzas, Director of the Museum of Philhellenism.
In February thirty-three Y9 to Y11 students took part on the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge, which is run by UK Mathematical Trust. Over 200,000 students from across the world sat the competition with roughly the top 10% receiving a gold certificate, the next 20% silver and the next 30% bronze. The competition was demanding and our students' results were outstanding. Our intermediate Mathematicians received 12 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze certificates.
We are very pleased to announce that our Language Ambassadors, Sasha (individual entry), Valentina, Ioanna, Melice, and Nasywa (team entry) from Year 9 were awarded the Gold Award at the Breakthrough Level in the United Kingdom Linguistics Olympiad, upon their first participation. Only 5% of the 807 entries was awarded a Gold award! Congratulations!
