House System
At Byron College, our House System is a vital part of the school’s community, closely aligned with our CARE values, ethos, and vision. When students and staff join the school, they are welcomed into one of four Houses: Theseus (Red), Perseus (Blue), Hercules (Green), or Athena (Yellow). This creates not only a strong sense of belonging to the Byron College community but also deeper connections within their House, fostering lasting friendships and teamwork.
SPORTS DAY
Sports Day is a highlight of our House System, embodying our commitment to fostering values such as teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, and perseverance. This eagerly anticipated event brings the entire school community together, with students competing passionately for their Houses in a spirit of healthy competition. Beyond celebrating athletic achievement, Sports Day is an opportunity for students to develop essential life skills, grow in confidence, and experience the power of collaboration and mutual support.
