We celebrate the multilingual and multicultural backgrounds of our international students, recognising them as enriching assets to our school community. The English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme, part of our English Department, is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where students feel encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Integration into all aspects of school life is a key focus of the programme. EAL students are supported to participate fully in classrooms, assemblies, the courtyard, school events, trips, and workshops. As their language skills develop, we emphasise collaboration through project work, fostering a strong sense of belonging within the school’s culture and ethos.
Guided by our CARE values—Community, Action, Respect, and Excellence—the EAL programme helps students build confidence, establish friendships, and embrace their identity within our inclusive school environment. By balancing academic growth with active participation in the wider school community, we empower students to thrive socially and academically, contributing to our vibrant and diverse school culture
