Like you, we wish to ensure you that your child has a successful and fulfilling career at Byron.
To that end, we monitor pupils' progress carefully during their time with us through a regular pattern of assessments, reports and scheduled Parent-Teacher meetings.
EYFS till Key Stage 3
From Nursery to Year 9 parents are given two (2) formal written reports. The first of these are level based and the second level and comment based and reflect the progress the pupils have made between the beginning and the end of the academic year.
Key Stages 4 and 5
From Year 10 to Year 13 pupils receive four (4) interim reports which show the level/grade, homework effort and class work effort for each cycle. They then all receive a full written report at the end of the academic year which presents all the modules and comments from each teacher.
You will have the opportunity to discuss your child's academic progress with the staff every year at schedules Parent-Teacher meetings. However, should you have any concerns at any other time, we are always happy to arrange a time to see you.
